摘要

A generalized psoriatic patient suffered a deep partial-thickness flame burn injury over the face, neck and right dorsal foot, with the burns covering over 8% of his total body surface area (TBSA). Most of the wounds healed promptly within seven days after a genetically-determined excessive proliferation of psoriatic skin and epidermal acanthosis. The only exception was that the auricle wound had to be grafted. From this case study, it was found that psoriatic skin can be a skin donor. Although no scars were found on either the burn wounds or the donor site, manifestation of psoriasis persisted.
