摘要

A new hydrolyzable tannin, antidesmin A (4), was isolated along with carpinusin (1) and geraniin (2) from dried leaves of Antidesma pentandrum merr. var. barbatum merr., and its dimeric structure, composed of davidiin (3) and geraniin (2), has been elucidated by spectral and chemical methods. © 1992, The Pharmaceutical Society of Japan.
