Two cases of distal ureteral calculi were clearly detected by transabdominal and transvaginal sonography. Sonographic findings in our studies support the hypothesis that sonography is a rapid, noninvasive and clinically repeatable examination that provides a useful adjunctive technique to complement excretory urography in evaluation of patients with renal colic.
