摘要

Intracranial lipomas are rarely diagnosed in childhood because they are mostly subclinical. Usually they are disclosed incidentally. An intracranial lipoma involving the corpus callosum, interhemispheric fissure, and choroid plexus associated with frontal extracranial extension was discovered by brain ultrasonography in a 2 month old infant who was born with a soft forehead lump and hypertelorism. The CT and MR imaging studies had supportive findings. Sonography may play a valuable role as a neuroimaging study in the diagnosis of corpus callosum lipomas.
