摘要

民國七十四年七月到七十八年十二月，共有204位病人在長庚醫院接受腰椎間盤切除術。其中四位為脊間孔外椎間盤突出病，其發生率為1.9%。診斷上，電腦斷層可以精確的顯示病狀，同時提供醫師較佳的手術途徑。臨床上，這些病例表現的症狀與傳統的病例並無多大差別。平均年齡(48.5)歲顯示略為偏高。手術方法建議採經橫突間韌帶途徑，其優點是不會破壞脊椎關節或峽部，避免日後脊椎不穩定的發生。
