摘要
Fourteen consecutive patients with 15 fingertip amputations were treated with composite graft from April 1992 to March 1993 in Tri-Service General Hospital. Nine were male and five, female. Their ages averaged 29 years old. Follow-up averaged seven months. The survival rate was 86.7% (13/15). Six (46.2%) patients had hypersensitivity to cold. The averaged 2-point discrimination was 3.9 mm. The conclusion was the Types I, II, III amputation could be replaced as composite grafts and Type IV amputation needs microsurgical replantation.
