說明

The uterus provides an environment for a fetus to maintain stable rhythms of homeostasis. These rhythms are often compromised after premature birth, leading to loss of temporal coordination of signals and nutrients ideal for development. Understanding how the rhythms come together, or what happens when the coordination is not met, is critical for improving the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) system. It is also fundamental for enhancing our knowledge of maturation and deterioration of the brain.
