本學程透過長期照護相關課程及實習培養學生進階長期照護能力、機構管理能力、及長期照護政策規劃能力等，並強化學生跨專業團隊合作溝通、人文關懷及服務熱誠。學程特色如下：
1. 跨領域及理論與實務並重之教學。
2. 紮實及完整的師資團隊。
3. 教師研究領域包括衛生政策評估、慢性疾病照護、長期照護、中風復健等。
4. 與國際頂尖大學建立合作機制，鼓勵國外參訪見習，建立國際接軌之專業學習。
