組織簡介
臺北醫學大學醫學人文研究所 (Graduate Institute of Medical Humanities) 是一間探究健康與社會各層面間多元問題的跨學科研究所。本所的研究涵蓋醫療社會學、生態醫學、醫學人文教育和性別與健康，以及本地與全球的科學、技術與社會研究 (STS)。本所希望透過多重研究方法培養並擴大以上領域知識的探索與釐清，促進個人與社區的福祉。
本所希望藉由研究與教育的結合，擴展醫學人文知識的培養。醫文所設置的社會科學碩士班 (M.Ss Program) 旨在培養學生彌合社會科學、人文和醫學三大學術領域的批判性思維與分析能力。本碩士班將有計劃性地為畢業生提供進入各種相關領域 (如: 公共政策、醫療實踐、醫療管理、國際發展規劃和學術研究) 就業及發展的必要裝備。
