組織簡介
鑑於台灣地區事故傷害連續30年皆為十大死因之前五位，但相關防治研究與政策卻不周全，國外各校均已設立傷害防治相關研究所，本校積極籌劃並於民國89年8月成立，正式開始招收碩士班研究生，為亞洲第一個傷害防治學研究所。為提供更完善之傷害防治研究高階人才培訓，民國95年在公共衛生學研究所博士班中成立傷害防治學組，104年正式設立傷害防治學研究所博士班，提供碩博一貫教育體制，同年亦成立傷害防治學研究所失能暨復健在職專班，針對傷害後認知功能恢復、身體功能結構與環境評估及輔具應用等範疇進一步探討，拓展慢性傷害研究領域。除深化國內傷害防治教育之外，民國99年招收國際學生，培訓國際傷害防治人才。
