機構簡介
本校在86學年度獲教育部核准設置醫學資訊研究所,成為亞洲第一個醫學資訊相關的研究所,開啟了國內醫學資訊人才培訓之新頁。
本所著重於結合生物醫學專業知識和電腦資訊技術,有效運用電腦資訊科技,一方面提升管理效率和醫療照護品質,直接嘉惠於病患;另一方面,則方便資料收集、整合、分析和呈現,協助生物醫學研究發展。研究領域含遠距照護、電子病歷、生醫資料庫、資料探勘、決策支援系統、大數據分析和轉譯醫學資訊等。
