Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

The article describes and analyzes experiences involved in the planning and implementation of general education courses based on the Teaching of Rites and Music. One course, Ethics and Aesthetics, emphasizes theory with practice as auxiliary, while another course ”Gu Qin and the Practice of Philosophy,” places equal emphasis on theory and practice. Both of these courses are offered as an example of how the traditional notion of Teaching of Rites and Music can be used to develop liberal education courses for today's modern universities.
