Abstract
Knowledge management becomes a hot topic of the business and academic world recently. As an institution that has been always managing human knowledge, the library can’t be excluded from this topic. This article describes definitions and categories of knowledge, introduces concepts and theories of knowledge management,and then explores the impact of KM on librarianship. At the end, the author tries to propose how librarians can reflect to the rising trend of KM from three aspects.
