Abstract

Autostereoscopic 3D display was believed to be the next mainstream of displays. In order to achieve better 3D image quality, both higher panel resolution and more view-zones was required. Consequently, the transmission bandwidth of the 3D display system was forced to increase to deal with huge data transferring. In this paper, we planned to integrate viewer-tracking system with a 120Hz naked-eye 3D display to reduce data transfer bandwidth and maintain 3D image resolution at the same time.
