Abstract

KSrPO₄*and Sr₃(Al₂O ₅)Cl₂ phosphors doped with Eu²⁺ emit a blue and orange-yellow luminescence under ultraviolet (UV) excitation at - 400 nm, respectively, which can be used for making white light emitting diodes.
