Abstract

A stable Au nanoparticles-quaternary ammonium surfactant aqueous solution with the Au/surfactant molar ration up to 0.06 has been conveniently prepared after a typical reduction of tetrachloroaurate salt (HAuCl4). That solution was used directly to synthesize the mesoporous aluminosilicates containing Au-nanoparticles. The calcined mesoporous aluminosilicates containing Au-nanoparticles with the advantages of high surface, large pore size, pore volume high dispersity of Au nanoparticles, demonstrated the catalytic activity of the CO oxidation at 80°C.
