Abstract

BackgroundMedical professionalism is becoming a popular topic since the 1990s, while it can be defined as the social contract between physicians and general public. In last decades, plastic surgeons were criticized for their shift from an altruistic focus to commercial ones. From public best interests, is it appropriate to have more commerical-oriented plastic surgeons? What’s their perception of their obligation as physicians? To understand this problem, this study, therefore, was to identify the ranking of professionalism of plastic surgeons by using QMethods
