The Locations of One-View Lesions on Mammograms

Abstract

Purpose: We present the locations of one-view lesions on mammograms. Materials and Methods: We collect one-view lesions on mammograms and mark these locations to avoid missing lesions of breasts. About 40 patients were collected during recent 3 year. Results: Most of breast lesions can be shown on both craniocaudal view (CC view) and mediolateral oblique (MLO) view of mammograms. If the lesion located outside the field of view on one standard view, it will become one-view lesion. We investigate on the locations of these lesions.
Conclusion: We need pay more attention to the one-view lesions on mammograms, especially in the marked locations of bilateral breasts.
