Abstract
Retroperitoneal cystic lymphangiomas are rare benign tumours. Ultrasonography, computed tomography, lymphography of fine-needle percutaneous aspiration may be used to make the diagnosis pre-operatively. Complete excision of the cyst without rupture is the preferred treatment. However, in complicated cases a conservative surgical approach is mandatory.
