Observation of slow relaxation on nano-confined water in nanoporous MCM-41 by terahertz spectroscopy

Abstract

Interfacial structural and condensed water in nanoporous MCM-41 were investigated by THz-TDS for the first time. A slow reorientation relaxation time of 30 and 100 ps were observed for condensed and structural water.
