Abstract

Infusion hepatic angiography (IHA) using large amount of contrast medium but low injection rate had been performed on 129 cases of hepatic tumors. IHA is complementary to conventional angiography. It helps to identify small nodules and makes the extent of tumor clearer. The arterial phase of IHA is poor. Portal vein thrombosis, portal hypertension and arterial portal shunting degrade quality of IHA.
