Abstract

This paper studies the nonlinear control law for a class of glucose-insulin regulatory systems with disturbance caused by meal ingestion. With this design, the closed-loop system will be robust to disturbance. At the same time, the proposed control law owns flexibility for people in prechoosing a desired regulation control law for the nominal system (i.e., a system without disturbance caused by meal ingestion) so that the regulation performance of the overall uncertain system is close to that of the nominal system. Simulation results demonstrate the advantages of the proposed design.
