Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the correlation of serum lipids, uric acid, albumin, GOT and GPT between parent and offspring. Analytical items included serum triglyceride, serum total cholesterol, high density lipoprotein cholesterol, low density lipoprotein cholesterol, uric acid, albumin, GOT and GPT. Statistical analysis was performed by SAS UNIVARIATE procedure, regression coeff. (bop), parent-offspring regression, paired-comparison and heritability(h2) were estimated. These results suggest that the heritability(h2) of 4 types serum lipids, uric acid, albumin, GOT and GPT between parent and offspring were not significantly different. The low density lipoprotein cholesterol showed maternal influence.
