Abstract

Introduction:There have been great advances in hemophilia care and co-morbiditiesof hemophiliacs are also taken seriously. HIV infection is a major issue forhemophiliacs. Few studies on the prevalence of HIV infection and the co-morbiditiesof hemophiliacs have been conducted in Asian countries on a nationwide scale.National Health Insurance in Taiwan has offered nationwide hemophilia care andmaintained a registry, since 1995.
