Abstract

Bio-living pulsed light-driven near-infrared image recognition system can assist medical personnel to quickly and accurately find and locate veins during venipuncture, especially for patients with difficulty in locating blood vessels such as young children, obesity, edema, and hairy, which can help in order to improve the success rate of venipuncture, reduce patient suffering, and improve the doctor-patient relationship.
