Abstract
Background: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the association between cholelithiasis and developing sialolithiasis using a population-based coverage database. Methods: The data for this study were sourced from the Taiwan Longitudinal Health Insurance Database. We included 745 subjects with sialolithiasis as cases and 3725 sex-matched and age-matched subjects without sialolithiasis as controls.
