Abstract
This article describes the antioxidative activity of fourteen phenolics isolated from S. baicalensis Georgi (Labiatae). Flavanone glycosides possessing a 3,3′,4′-trihydroxy group displayed the strongest antioxidative activity. Acteoside (17) with two ortho diphenolic moieties showed the strongest radical scavenging activity (IC50 = 18.3 μM).
