Abstract
A robust online e-Learning system at least consists of learning content, a platform that delivers the content online, and mechanisms that support various levels of instructor-learner or learner-learner interactions. Among them, the learning content is the most important bridge between instructors and learners. e-Learning can't work without learning content. Thus, an easy to use and powerful authoring system is indispensable in an e-Learning environment. More importantly, there may be more than one instructor involving in one course. Thus, collaborative authoring is necessary for preparation of a courseware. The purpose of this study is to propose a framework for collaborative authoring with SCORM.
