Abstract
As technology develops, various teaching media increased as well. Among them the audiovisual material was considered most effective for teachers, especially in art history classes. Being a teacher of art history, it was always a challenge to choose videos as teaching supplements but not limited to letting students only watch a film. This paper was based on applying "The Passage", a video published by the National Palace Museum (Taiwan), in my art history class when introducing Chinese traditional art. From the feedback of student and the teaching result, some useful findings might be helpful as reference for future course design in similar courses.
