Abstract

This article aims to explore the influence of the derivative’s financial
knowledge to the participation chance of the options market. We collected 2,075
samples of interviewees with age over 20, the result proved that by equipping
derivative’s financial knowledge indeed has a positive impact significantly on the public’s participation in investing in the derivatives market. This article discovered the interviewees with a higher level of financial knowledge on the derivatives had a better understanding of the background of the option’s incident, 0206, and believed the option’s trader should take full responsibility for the incident. When the government compensates the financial service dispute as to the way of handling it, it would cause backward choices at certain levels and induces ethical risks. It hinders the public to build awareness of investment’s risk. Through proper financial safety education and develop people’s correct risk awareness is the proper course of action to maintain finance’s stability.
