Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the distribution of the type of learning evaluation, the distribution of grading scores, and the association of type of learning evaluation and grading scores. The results were as follows. The students’mean grading score was 75.41. There were 7 courses which the students’average grading scores were under 60. Students’scores were significantly different among the departments. Type of learning evaluation was associated with grading scores. The students' grading scores were the lowest among the groups of students evaluated with written test only, and the highest among the groups of students evaluated with non-written test only. The authors recommended the more flexible methods of evaluation integrating the written test forms and other forms.
