Abstract
Home-based palliative care provides end-of-life care for the whole family with the primary focuses on the patient. Demographic variables affect people's attitudes towards home-based palliative care. This article provides a brief description of home-based palliative care and discusses the gender factor on the roles of ＂care receiver＂ and ＂caregiver.＂
