Abstract
The goal of this study was to determine if the oral health knowledge, attitude, and practice of parents influence the oral health status of their children. A total of 201 parents with children attending the pediatric department of WanFang Hospital, Taipei for immunization of children disease were surveyed. The results of this study have implied the efforts to improve parental knowledge, attitudes and the practice of oral health in young children. Also, we need the pediatrician's support to provide information and promote confidence of optimal fluoride exposure.
