Abstract
Utilization of family nursing models may facilitate good healthcare outcomes. This article reviews family nursing models related literatures of the years of 2004 to 2013 from the CINAHL databases. Related family nursing models include Calgary Family Nursing Model, Family Partnership Model, Concentric Sphere Environment Model, Empowerment Model, Refugee Family Intervention Model. In addition, there are Family Case Model and Integrated Mental Health Model applied in nursing education. Approaches to each family nursing care are discussed. Within current available family nursing models, future studies should increase the effectiveness and promote the consistence of these models.
