Abstract
Purposes：The purpose of this study is to understand the skill factors of scoring and to establish the regression formula of lead to win by the male third grade of university volleyball tournament in 2004. These results could provide information for coaches to make better strategies in training.
Results：(1)The percentage of five skill factors of scoring are opponent error:7.97% and serving:6.90%. (2) There are no significant difference to compare the five skill factors of scoring by won and lost game. (3)Two scoring factors of opponent error and serving reach to significant level (p<.05) by using the method of stepwise multiple regression to evaluate the relationship between lead to win and five skill factors of scoring. The explanation (R square) of scoring by opponent error is 22.4% and scoring by serving is 19.1% that the combined predication is 41.1%. The formula of lead to win is ZY=.500x(the scoring by opponent missing)+.437x(the scoring by serving).
