中國航母的發展模式：攻勢現實主義的觀點

This paper aims to examine the implications of the developmental strategy of aircraft carriers in China by using offensive realistic explanations. Offensive realists claim that the international system provides China with strong incentives to resort to offensive action in order to alter the status quo and expand its power overseas. Inevitably, China will seek to increase its naval strength, to the detriment of other states within the system. Arguably, it is in China's national interest to become a hegemony-being the only great power in the region. As China is likely to be a revisionist, it will let the PLAN's strategy of aircraft carrier development be similar to that of the United States, instead of that of the other post-World War II aircraft carrier operators-such as the UK, France and the USSR (now Russia).
