To Build a Platform of Osce Test Generator and Evaluating Database Using Visualized Tree Structure and Crowd Sourcing Artificial Intelligence: Establishing and Evaluating Itosce

Project: A - Government Institutionb - National Science and Technology Council

Project Details

Description

Objective Structured Clinical Examination(OSCE), one of the national examination of medical doctor, could objectively assess medical students’ knowledge and skills, but it depends on a high needs of human resource. Furthermore, OSCE examiner and test reviewer might be bothered by different clinical procedure in hospitals when they designed a checklist for examine. The aim of the project is to build a system for OSCE test generating with test generating logic and user recommendation. The system will be called Intelligent Test-generator of Objective Structured Clinical Examination(iTOSCE). iTOSCE not only is a platform on which OSCE examiner and reviewer can process a testing, but also the system can collect information from user and transform the information to recommendation for testing generating or reviewing. The project will build iTOSCE on-line platform with ontology, visualized tree structure, and crowdsourcing, and the project will collect system information, user feedback(technology acceptance) to evaluate the quality of iTOSCE.
