Description
The basis of this project is the Translational Core Laboratory and Industry-AcademiaCollaboration and Incubation platform. With the objective of originating enterprise, current projectaims to industrialize the research products by the experienced professionals; meanwhile, in order totransfer academia intellectual property into everlasting energy of managing Taipei Medical University, current project establishes the atmosphere of initiating a business creatively and incubates seniorexperts in the field of biotechnology actively. Taipei Medical University (TMU) is orientated bybecoming one of the top research university on the basis of translational medicine. We plan budgetannually to recruit distinguishing research team, to provide financial support at the primary stage, andto accelerate the development of potential marker with clinical translational values. With thetranslational medical core laboratory, we are able to optimize pharmaceuticals, evaluate the pharmacy, establish biobank and clinical research database, construct biomedical equipment manufacturing centerand GTP laboratory in addition to the only early-stage clinical trial ward nationwide. Besides, TaipeiMedical University has always been enjoying its reputation as an excellent partner of industryacademiacollaboration in the field of biomedical science. Our executant team comprises experts fromthe biomedical field who is responsible for the protection of intellectual property, licensing oftechnology, and cooperation between industry and academia. Through the translational research corefacility and industry-academia collaboration, the gap among basic research, pre-clinical research, clinical research, and the production development can be connected to boost the research developmentand industrialize the research product.
