本計畫主要探討FIR對骨骼肌及白色脂肪的胰島素阻抗的影響。我們利用C2C12分化而來的骨骼肌細胞以及3T3-L1分化而來的脂肪細胞作為研究材料,透過palmitic acid (PA)去誘導成胰島素阻抗的細胞,在經過FIR的照射後,檢測胰島素相關的訊號傳遞路徑,以探討FIR影響的機制。另外,也以高脂飼料(high fat diet)餵食小鼠,引發胰島素阻抗,以此動物模式探討FIR對胰島素阻抗的系統性影響。
