心房顫動會降低病人存活率且增加醫療負擔,健保資料庫顯示心房顫動患者耗費巨額費用。發炎反應則是引發心房顫動重要因子。本計畫將研究IL33/ST2訊息路徑 於心房心律不整與心房顫動關係;分析改變IL33/ST2路徑是否能應用於心房顫動治療。本研究將增加對於發炎因子引發心房顫動病理機轉了解,並對社會、經濟、基礎醫學研究與臨床治療之發展殊為重要。
