我們使用骨髓衍生的肥大細胞來釐清IL-38對其抗發炎的能力，此外，經由建立起的骨髓衍生的樹突狀細胞平台來探討IL-38對此細胞的免疫調控。同時，構建能表現 IL-38 的腺病毒(Ad-IL-38)，並將其轉導至骨髓衍生的樹突狀細胞和間葉幹細胞，進而評估這些修飾後的細胞對免疫細胞的免疫調節能力，以及其對抑制過敏性氣喘的效益。本計畫的執行可促進發展以樹突狀細胞(與間葉幹細胞)進行細胞治療，且有助學界研究者對氣喘有新的認識，並為過敏氣喘病人的治療提供新的方向，以期對全國同胞做出貢獻，達到突破性的發展。
