Description

Gross anatomy laboratory is a very unique course in medical students’ learning experience. The course involves not only human structure knowledge, but also medical humanities and life education. According to results of our previous projects (105-2511-S-038-006-MY2), we found “love and caring” and “attitude toward death” of students increased after home visit. But this increasing didn’t last to the end of the semester. We propose a 2-year project to further investigate if combination of home visit and semi-autonomous learning programs will increase students “love and caring” and “attitude toward death” and let the effects of these two variables last longer. We will use the following procedures to fulfill this aim:1. We will courage students to join in semi-autonomous learning programs.2. To continue our past project and to track students’ performance in the questionnaire.3. To understand the impact of the home visits and the semi-autonomous learning program. We will compare the questionnaire, reflective journal between students with and without joining home visit or program.4. To survey students’ satisfaction of semi-autonomous learning program so that it could be the reference of future program revision.
