本計畫將會了解瞳孔大小改變的功能與其受到認知神經歷程影響的反應與大腦神經機制。並可以進一步使用瞳孔測量幫助了解老化的神經與認知功能,以便發展機器學習模型產生行為生物指標來預測阿茲海默氏症的早期病理,並協助阿茲海默氏症的早期診斷。所以對台灣邁入高齡社會有特別的重要性。
