本計畫以藥物誘發小鼠產生發炎性腸道疾病後,以之前研究成果A. muciniphila和PAW繼續往下探研,推論miRNA亦可能參與其中並改變發炎性腸道疾病,以及配合形成conjugated therapy的可能性。如本研究完成,除具學術發表價值外,將可利用研究成果如特定的腸道菌 (A. muciniphila) 的代謝物或蛋白質、特定的miRNA,配合PAW引用,加上傳統的5-aminosalicyclic acid治療,控制臨床發炎性腸道疾病的嚴重程度,改善此類炎症的預後,建立發炎性腸道疾病的臨床轉譯醫學。
