Project Details

Description

Metabolomics is a new branch of systems biology, which is the study of plant metabolism in different species, different genetic types or different ecological types of plant growth at different times or be subject to some interference before and after stimulation small molecule metabolites, their qualitative and quantitative analysis, and identify metabolic changes in the material. Study of plant metabolism and second metabolism of traditional phytochemistry are very different, it is no longer based on isolation and identification of plants in a single component for research purposes, but from the overall, systematic and comprehensive study of all plants small molecules and to study the changes in its relationship with time. A. First-year: Studies on the Wound Response of the Leave of Agave sisalana B. Second year: study the secondary metabolites of different growth of Anoectochilus formosanus C. Third-year: study the secondary metabolites of different temperatures, sunlight mode of Phalaenopsis spp. This subject's research is uses LC-MS, GC-MS... and the experiment skill of NMR carries on the macroscopic overall ingredient characteristic the material construction, and carries on the active appraisal, then the methods of PCA to understand the relationship under different growth conditions of plant secondary metabolites.
