藉由發現副甲狀腺素增加動靜脈廔管病變風險之致病機轉,以及SFRP2在其中的角色,本研究之結果可能找到治療或預防動靜脈廔管病變之新標的,包括控制副甲狀腺亢進、中和SFRP2、或抑制Wnt/β-catenin訊息路徑,從而改善血液透析病患之管路照護品質。
