泛自閉症症候群臨床診斷以行為表現為依據,尚缺乏生物影像標誌提供量化診斷輔助,且確診年齡大多落於3歲以後。而泛自閉症症候群幼兒在3歲以前即出現社交溝通缺陷的早期症狀。根據兒童發展的歷程,我們得知語言、認知發展的關鍵高峰期落在幼兒1至2歲左右,此時幼兒的大腦發育正值巔峰,可塑性也最為可觀,因此本計畫之重點目標為找出早期篩選泛自閉症症候群幼兒的神經影像標誌,開發改善泛自閉症症候群幼兒之社交溝通核心症狀的新興音樂語言介入模式,運用深度學習技術篩選泛自閉症症候群高風險幼兒與預測早療方式的效益,期能在幼兒發展關鍵期及早偵測篩選泛自閉症症候群高風險幼兒並進行有效的早療策略,將對個人、家庭、社會蔚為福祉。
