本研究的重點在利用體外實驗及電腦模擬方式研究藥毒物體內代謝與腸道菌叢間交互作用機轉。相信此研究方法將可縮短基礎腸道菌叢研究和臨床腸道菌叢研究之間的差距,並提升我們對腸道菌叢在人類疾病中的作用的了解,對未來腸道菌叢-藥物交互作用的臨床試驗設計研究將有所助益。
