對於特發性肺纖維化,nintedanib與pirfenidone為目前使用之兩種標靶藥物,雖然其副作用低,但藥價非常昂貴。本計畫提出利用甲殼素奈米膠囊包覆抗纖維化小分子核糖核酸,研發出一具有標靶抑制TGF-β機制且價格較低之新穎奈米吸入噴劑作為肺纖維化之治療,預期能開發出病人能進行居家治療肺纖維化之噴劑劑型成品,並也可運用於病毒感染所造成肺纖維化之治療。
