本研究透過嚴謹的臨床研究設計及長期追蹤測驗之臨床實證治療模式,建構『多重模式口腔與咽部範疇吞嚥訓練復健(MMOPSR)』模式對吞嚥困難長者為創新且極重要之研究主題。透過『多重模式口腔與咽部範疇吞嚥訓練復健』介入篩檢及訓練復健,來強化臨床吞嚥困難長者相關併發症之管理,期能改善吞嚥困難長者之吞嚥功能,強化長者口咽吞嚥效率及降低營養不良之情況,且能提升吞嚥困難長者的生活品質,以達到提升整體照護之完整性。MMOPSR之長期縱貫研究證據亦可提供實務上擴大推廣及運用於吞嚥困難患者之場域,如衰弱、中風、失智症、帕金森氏症患者等,亦可作為未來運用『多重模式口腔與咽部範疇吞嚥訓練復健』模式於臨床之參考。
